SUMMARY:
The Forestry Division maintains over 50 miles of forest road and associated stream crossings,
including 7 bridges, on City Watershed and Utility Land. In 2021 the bridges were inspected by an
engineer who identified two bridges that require replacement. This contract is for the installation of
the bridges as well as complete the associated road work.

A RFB(Request for Bids) was sent out April 18, 2024,and we received 7 bids.
SAW Enterprises was the lowest responsive bid with a total cost of $318,727.20.

Work is budgeted in the Water Capital Budget.

Move to approve the Public Works Agreement with SAW Enterprises LLC for the amount of
$318,727.20and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially
thesameterms and conditions as presented.
