- Prep roadway for paving via milling and concrete removal per discussion. Concrete removal will
be paid by Item 10 - Remove Existing Cement Concrete Pavement. Milling will be tracked under
Item 9 - Remove Existing Asphalt Concrete Pavement.
- Remove and replace Cement Conc. Traffic Curb and Gutter in locations marked on-site by the
City. This work will be paid by Item 29 - Cement Conc. Traffic Curb and Gutter.
- Install new sidewalk at the VRV #2 location to the extents marked by the City. This work will be
paid by via Force Account
- Pave the full width of the roadway as marked on-site and discussed with the City. Areas milled
to a depth of 4-inches will receive one 2-inch base lift plus a 2-inch overlay. Areas milled to a
depth of 2-inches will receive one 2-inch overlay lift.
- Bid Item Unit Prices are revised per the following:
- Delete and Replace Item 9 Remove Existing Asphalt Concrete Pavement (includes milling
work) from $5/SY to $8.50/SY
- Delete and Replace Item 29 Cement Conc. Traffic Curb and Gutter from $190/FT to $105/FT
- Delete and Replace Item 16 HMA, Cl. 1/2In. PG 58H-22 from $180/Ton $167.50/Ton
(w/o sales tax)
