Ketterer Phone: (360) 473-5334 SUMMARY: The Reservoir 4 site contains multiple critical assets of the Water Utility that are now in close physical and visual proximity to surrounding development. A recent security vulnerability assessment recommended several physical and electronic access control improvements to include fencing, gates, and enhanced software -based access control and intrusion detection. The security enhancements proposed exceed those originally scoped in the budget for this project. A budget adjustment to the Water Utility Capital Fund of $265,000 is requested to complete the project. Chinook Properties Inc. is a local contractor from Silverdale and their bid of $375,881.05 was the lowest responsible and responsive bid for the project. We recommend that the Council award the contract to Chinook Properties.
