SUMMARY:The City of Bremerton and Kitsap County entered into an agreement for incarceration
of prisoners on January 22, 2018, and subsequently entered into amended
agreements through December 31, 2023. For the calendar year 2024, thecurrent fee of $157.05,
per full bed-day, will remain the same.

FISCAL IMPACTS(IncludeBudgeted Amount):
$1.5 million has been approved in the 2024 budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Sixth Amendment to the Kitsap County/City of Bremerton Agreement for
Incarceration of City Prisoners andauthorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with
substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
