Therehave been threecontract modification executed todate. Modification No. 1intheamountof $17,045for additional survey andengineering services relatedtotheadditionofthec wasnotpartoftheoriginal scope, butlateradded totheproject following awardofa $252,000 Department ofCommerce grant. Modification No. 2intheamount of $2,306foradditional survey scope relative toarequired Department ofNatural Resources AquaticLease. Modification No. 3in theamount of $2,534 foradded scope toidentifyandmonitor potential heron nesting neartheproject site. Theproposed Contract Modification No. 4isintheamount of $59,575,whichbringsthetotal contract amountto$195,349. Theaddedscopeofworkincludes thefollowing: 1)Engineering services duringconstruction,submittal reviewandon-siteengineering support. 2)Permitting support servicesrelated tocoordination with WDFWandtheSuquamish Tribe. 3)Preparation oftherequired Biological Assessment tomeettheArmy CorpsofEngineers requirement foraformal Endangered Species Act (ESA) Consultation withtheNational Marine Fisheries Services (NMFS).
