Instructions for Budget
The worksheet is set up for you to enter your project budget. Your budget should show all costs to operate a
housing program (i.e. staff costs, supplies, indirect overhead costs, etc) or complete a non-development
project.
Enter information in the white boxes only
Enter the agency name and project name at the top of the form
Enter the amount requested to be covered by the grant in the middle column
Enter the amount to be covered by other funds in the last column
The Total column contains a formula and will add the requested grant funds and other funds.
DO NOT ENTER ANYTHING INTO THE CELLS IN THIS COLUMN
Things to note when completing the budget
The middle 'Requested Funds' column is the breakdown for how your requested funds will be used and the
total should match the amount in Question 1.
The total budget, cell B54, should equal the total shown on the Sources of Financing form in cell I62
