RE: Marina Square - Existing Month to Month City Parking Agreement Update
Dear Mayor Wheeler,
Thank you for considering this letter. The Port of Bremerton appreciates the ability to continue
the cooperative agreement with the City of Bremerton for temporary marina parking during
construction of the Marina Square Project. The agreement has been beneficial for Bremerton
citizens, the marina tenants, and the Port of Bremerton.
The Marina Square project has been progressing and construction continues daily on the
project. The Port of Bremerton looks forward to the successful completion of the project in that
it will serve as a beneficial addition to the City of Bremerton waterfront providing essential
housing, economic development, and much needed parking to the area.
This correspondence is to express the intent for the Port to continue the existing month to
month parking agreement until the completion of the Marina Square project, presently
anticipated near March 2022. Additional communication will be forthcoming as the project
begins to obtain occupancy permits.
