SUMMARY:
The Utter Associates has completeddesign andinstallation of the new Audio Visual
Equipment at the Bremerton Municipal Court,and made arequest for a final change orderin the
amount of $7,358.43bringing the total changes to the agreement to $33,369.57and bringing the new
total contract price to: $185,969.57. This is an aggregated21% increaseto the original contract cost
requiring City Council approval. The Contractor has agreed to this final contract amount. Change
order 1 included a re-routing of conduit directlyto the IT roomandChange order 2 includesextra
cabling and connecting equipment not included in the original orderplaced by the contractor. This
change was not provided to the City until our September close-out. Allworkissigned off and agreed
uponandthis request isconsidered a typical final materials charge,approved by the City asthere
were not as-builts forplanning.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Change Order 2 to the Public Works Agreement with Utter Associates in the
amount of $7,385.43and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with
substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
