SUMMARY:
Stormwater system planning is essential for the StormwaterUtility to maintain operational conditions
that provide adequate service to residents, protect property from flooding, and protect waters around
Bremerton from pollution generated by the developed environment. Comprehensive planning is a
new requirement of the NPDES Municipal Phase II Stormwater Permit that definesmany actions of
the Utility programs.
