SUMMARY:Water system planning is essential for the Bremerton Water Utility to meet forecasted
increasesin water demand. The Water System Plan is updatedevery ten years in accordance with
Washington Administrative Code 246-290. It identifies present and futureneeds, sets forth the
means to address these needs, and demonstrates the operational, technical, managerial, and
financial capability to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): The Water System Plan includes anticipated
operational expenses for the Water Utility and a 20-year Capital Improvement Plan estimated to cost
$166million.
