Dear Mike:
Thank you for choosing me and Keating, Bucklin & McCormack, Inc., P.S. (“KBM”) to
provide training services described more fully below. I look forward to working with you on this
project. To ensure as clear an understanding as possible as to the basis of our procedures and
charges in rendering the requested services, I have prepared this letter for your review and
consideration. This confirms our agreement that you are retaining me to provide training in relation
to the 2021 legislative enactments and changes impacting law enforcement services in
Washington. Our fees for this training are $304 per hour. As discussed, we are anticipating
approximately twelve hours of training time, three hours of paid travel time, and up to two nights

detailed billing directed to you. It will will indicate both the attorney who is providing the work
and a detailed description to the tenth of an hour. If you agree with these terms please sign in the
space below, retain a copy of this letter for your files, and return a copy to me. We appreciate very
much the opportunity to assist you in this matter. If you have any questions regarding this
agreement, or should you at any time have any questions regarding the nature of our services,
please do not hesitate to contact me.
Very truly yours,
Shannon M. Ragonesi
