SUMMARY:
The court is requesting a letter of support as a part of the application packet for renewal of the
Therapeutic Court-Community Court AOC Grant. A MOU was done last year in June. An amended
MOU is attached that meets the application renewal requirements. Authorizing the Mayor and
Prosecutor to sign.
Action is requested tonight to meet the deadline, and prevent loss of funding.
ATTACHMENTS: 1) Amended MOU; and 2) MOU from June 2022
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Without the MOU the Court will not meet the
application requirements and lose continued funding from AOC beginning July 1, 2023.
