SUMMARY:The City Council desires to update provisions of Bremerton Municipal Code (BMC)
Chapter 2.76 by amending BMC 2.76.100 and 2.76.110.The current provisions ofBMC2.76.100(c)
relating to purchasing procedures result in lack of clarity regarding contract approval limitsand
certain provisions of BMC 2.76.110(a)(4) relating to contract amendments and change orders are no
longer necessary and relevant based on a previous ordinance amending the contract approval limit in
2022.
