SUMMARY:The court is requesting to bring on extra hire help for the summer. The court is
approaching an audit this summer and is in need ofadditional help with the court administrator on
pulling all the data needed for the audit. This would be temporary help starting June through August,
10-15 hours a week. The court is back logged on docketing cases and is requesting to hire extra help
to b
courtroom to keep up on their docketing as the turn around time should be 24-48 hours. For the past
six to eight weeks, we have had a huge increase in our jail calendar. We are averaging 15 -20
defendants a day on the calendar. We have also had an increase in our review calendars, which

three weeks behind on docketing. This request would also be June through August, 20-24 hours per
week.
ATTACHMENTS:
FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): There will be minimal fiscal impact to the courts
budget. The court has had a couple vacant positions and these savings will help cover the extra hire
funding.
