SUMMARY:
The City advertised to construct the new indoor climate control systems at the Puget Sound Navy
Museum to control building humidity and to preserve US Navy artifacts and museum exhibits, and
three bids were received. Low bid was from Capital Heating &Cooling, Inc., of Lacey, WA. The
Department requests approval of the bid award to Capital Heating and Cooling, Inc. in the bid
amount of $340,922.40.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount):
Bid amount is $340,922.40 including WA State Sales Tax. This project is included in the 2023
Capital Improvement Fund.
