The Department of Community Development has selected The Watershed Company to assist with the SMP Periodic Update. This consultant was selected following an extensive Request for Proposal process. The request for proposals was issued on August 12, 2019, was listed in the Daily Journal of Commerce on August 16, 2019 and the request was concluded on September 13, 2019. The City received three (3) proposals and interviewed those teams. The Consultant's focus will be providing a gap analysis on the SMP and associated critical area regulations, verifying best available science is being used, updating theexistingCode, and assisting with the environmental review. To facilitate in this required update, Department of Ecology has awarded the City $22,400 to helpfundthiswork. There is no match required. ATTACHMENTS: 1.
