SUMMARY:The current lease agreement for the Gold Mountain Golf Course fleet of golf, beverage
and utility carts expires on June 18, 2023. The Golf Management team from Columbia Hospitality
has solicited and received proposals from three golf cart vendors. Staff recommendation is to enter
into a 48-monthlease with Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. for 2023 model year vehicles as
follows:
140 two-passenger fleet carts
4 four-passenger marshal carts
3 beverage carts
1 utility cart
Lease Amounts: $14,417monthly; $173,003annually and $692,011through the 48 months.
The cost of the 4-year lease is recouped through cart rental revenue. Gross cart rental revenue in
2022 was $697,044. The new fleet of carts will provide additional revenue potential through
increased cart rentals and green fees while reducing fuel and maintenance costs.

Move to approve the Lease Agreement between Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. and the City for
golf carts;and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same
terms and conditions as presented.
