SUMMARY:AquaTechnex,LLC was awarded the contract to treat Kitsap Lake and provide aquatic
vegetation harvesting as the only responsive bidderin 2020. For the past three years they have
improve lake water
quality using a phosphorus sequestering agent to reduce blue-green algae blooms during peak use
periods. This agreement extends their services through December of 2025 as outlined in the GSA
scope of work.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount):Project cost is $525,000 over 3 years with funding
sources split between Stormwater Capital Fund ($87,500), and the General Fund ($87,500)in the
amount not to exceed $175,000 per year.
