SUMMARY:Contract Modification Agreement No. 2 amends the Professional Services Agreement
with Parametrix, Inc. for engineering servicesprovided forthe Decommission Beach Sewer in Manette
(OF-4 to EB-2) Project. The contractis amended to include the following additionalscope of work: 90
percent design review,design and permitting for improvements below the high tide line, cultural
resources permitting and support,electrical design to include instrumentation and control sheets,and
additional project managementdue to increased scope. The original contract amount was$412,208.
The current contract amount, which was increased by Contract Modification No. 1, is$479,957. This
current contract modification agreement increases the contract amount by $182,973for an amended
contract amount of $662,930.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount):The project is includedin the 2023Wastewater CIP
and is funded by an Ecology Clean Water State Revolving Fund Loan in the amount of $2,300,000.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:Move to awardContract Modification Agreement No. 2with Parametrix,

$182,973;andauthorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially thesame
terms and conditions as presented.
