Acceptance of Washington State
Department of Commerce Local &
Community Projects Program Grant for the
Bremerton Library HVAC Replacement
Project
SUMMARY:
Bremerton Public Works and Utilities applied for and received a grant award from the Washington
State Department of Commerce for $412,000.00 to fully fund the City of Bremerton Downtown Library
Building HVAC Replacement Project.
The improvements include the removal and replacement of the existing steam hot water boiler (heat
only) system with a new HVAC system for both heating and air conditioning. The new system also
includes outside air system filtration.

This project is included in the General Facilities capital improvements plan and is 100% grant funded.
