SUMMARY:
The City bid the project using the MRSC Small Public Works Roster, opening bids on December 1st,
2022and1bid wasreceived. AJ Spray Foam Services, LLC dba Slabjack Geotechnicalis the lower
responsive, responsible bidder with theirtotalbid of $170,595.50, including sales tax. In order to
maximize work performed under this contract, the total bid included a Base Bid and two (2) add
alternative bids. Based on bids received and available project budget, the contract will include the
Base Bid, Add Alternate #1 Bid, and Add Alternate #2 Bidin the amount of $170,595.50.The project
removes trip hazards at multiple locations around the City by raising sidewalk panels with
polyurethane foam injection (sidewalk jacking), and edge grinding.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Public Works Agreement with AJ Spray Foam Services, LLC dba Slabjack
Geotechnicalfor the 2022 Sidewalk Trip Hazard Removal Project; and authorize the Mayor to finalize
and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
