SUMMARY:There has been ongoing concern about the lack of reliability for ferry service. Through
the proposed Resolution, the City Council is now urging Washington State Ferries, the Washington
Department of Transportation, and Governor Inslee to enact changes to the WSF Restoration Plan
that would increase Bremerton-Seattle route reliability, provide funding to Kitsap Fast Ferries to
increase Bremerton service and offset extra expenses incurred by riders, and improve citizen
communication
