SUMMARY:
The purpose of tacceptcomments on the 2023 Proposed Budget.

In addition to receiving written comments throughout the process, Public Comments were also
accepted during the November 2 Public Hearing.
This is the second of two public hearings on the budget. Public Comments will be taken into
consideration before Council adopts a final ordinance.
The attached ordinance represents the final proposed 2023 Fiscal Budget.
If adopted, this ordinance would become effective January 1, 2023.
ATTACHMENTS:1) Ordinance No. 5464; and 2) Exhibit A
FISCAL IMPACTS(IncludeBudgeted Amount): Total proposed general fund expenditures,
without ending fund balance, is $57,885,542. With ending fund balance, total general fund
expenditures are $68,184,888. Total proposed expenditures city wide, without ending fund balance,
is $166,709,378. With ending fund balance, total expenditures city wide is $224,441,230.

Move to pass Ordinance No. 5464to approve and adopt the City of Bremerton Budget for Fiscal Year
2023; and appropriating the amounts set forth in each fund in accordance with RCW 35.33.075.
