SUMMARY:The attached Department of CommerceLocal and Community Projects Program Grant
Agreement will provide $160,050to assist in the replacement of the existing outdated wood play
equipment and fall surfacing to enhance durability and accessibility of the Kiwanis Park playground.
Improvements include new accessible playground equipment and unitary fall surfacing.This grant
requires no matching funds and will be combined with funds donated by the Bremerton Kiwanis Club

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): This $160,050 grant requires no matching funds
and will be combined with a $130,000 donation from the Kiwanis Club of Bremerton.

Move to authorize the Mayorto enter into theAgreement with the State of Washington Department of

execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
