CDBG/HOME Action Plan
SUMMARY:On July 6,2022City Council approved the 2023CDBG/HOME Policy Plan outlining the
CDBG and HOME funding allocation process. Based on that policy, the Project Review Committee
(PRC) has developed the 2023funding recommendations for Council consideration and approval. If
approved, these submissions will be sent to the Department of Housing and Urban Development
The following projectsare recommended for CDBG funding: YWCA of Kitsap Countyadministrative
building improvements,City of Bremerton Public Works DepartmentPedestrian Priority Network
improvements,Kitsap Community ResourcesWeatherization and Minor Home Repair, Kitsap
Community Resources BE$Tprogram.
The following projectis recommended for HOME funding: Community FrameworksBremerton
Homeownership.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to pass Resolution No.3353approving the 2023 funding recommendations to be included in
the 2023 Action Plan to HUD;and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agency grant
agreements with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
