SUMMARY:The project is replacement of 2,200-ft of failing cast iron pressure sewer along Oyster
Bay Avenue between Kitsap Way and Arsenal Way.The construction began in April and is nearly
complete.The contract assumed the roadway would be restored with a trench patch; however,the
existing pavement is failing and so a full roadway restoration is more appropriate. This change order
for $223,149.11will provide for a combination of grind and overlay and pavement replacement
beyond the trench area for full width surface restorationof Oyster Bay Avenue.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): The Change Order increases the contract total by
$223,149.11; the project is included in the Wastewater Fund. A budget adjustment is not required.
