SUMMARY:
This stormwater project addresses a historicalflooding issue which has impacted the intersection of
Robin Avenue and Dibb Street and adjacent residences.This project will construct new large
diameter stormwater mains in Robin and Eagle Avenues and reconstruct both the outfall and inlet
structures downstream on Stephenson Creek.The workon Eagle Avenue willinclude reconstruction
of the driving surfaceand thework on Robin Avenue will include new sidewalks and ADAramps.
5bids were received and were opened on June 2, 2022.Active Construction, Inc.was the lowest
responsive bidder with a total bid in the amount of $2,715,715.00including sales tax.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): The project is included in the 2022 Stormwater
budget and is funded by a Public Works Trust Fund loan in the amount of $3,881,330.00and the
Street Fund in the amount of $600,000for a total of $4,481,330.00.

Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as
presented.
