SUMMARY:In April 2019, the City executed a contract with HDREngineering, Inc.for the design of
the Naval Avenue Pedestrian EnhancementsProject in the amount of $614,400. One supplement
has been executedfor a time extension of the contract. The proposed Supplement No. 2increases
the contract value by $148,593.45to a new total of$762,993.45; the work includes environmental
permitting,open house support,additionalsidewalk and signalimprovementdesign, and
geotechnical investigation.The supplement also extends the contract completion date to December
31, 2026.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount):This project is included in the Transportation
Capital Projects Fund, an increase to this project budget was completed at mid-year.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Supplemental AgreementNo. 2with HDREngineering, Inc. for the Naval Avenue
Pedestrian Enhancements Projectincreasingthe contract value by $148,593.45 to a new total of
$762,993.45; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the
same terms and conditions as presented.
