SUMMARY:
census, City district boundaries are changed to reflect the current population with a view to provide
the public, as far as possible, with equal City Council representation.
To formalize the new district boundaries, the city is required tohold a public hearing on the proposed
boundaries and then adoptthe related ordinance. A public hearing was held on May 18, 2022 to
take public comment and now the action before the Council is to adopt the ordinance.
