SCOPE OF WORK
City of Bremerton
Unit Priced Contract Preparation
INTRODUCTION
This exhibit presents Parametrix’s proposed scope of work (SOW) to prepare two additional unit priced contracts
under our current professional services agreement. The two additional unit priced contracts will be for pavement
markings and sidewalk repair using Slabjack.
A proposed schedule for the work is provided in Exhibit B and our proposed budget is attached as Exhibit C.
The following task is associated with this SOW.
Task 1 – Unit Priced Contract Preparation
Objective
Manage the project and prepare two additional unit priced construction contracts.
Activities
The following activities will be performed as part of this task:
• Manage and direct the project technical team.
• Coordinate with the City during project kickoff to identify specific items to be included in the contracts.
• Prepare unit priced contracts using the contract format developed previously for chip seal and slurry seal.
• Prepare special provisions in WSDOT format.
• Prepare bid-ready unit priced contract documents.
Deliverables
The following deliverables will be prepared:
• Routine correspondence and monthly progress reports
• Draft and final special provisions and unit priced contract documents

Assumptions
The following assumptions apply to this task:
• The City will develop the work scope, figures, and estimates to be included in each unit priced contract.
• QC review will require up to 4 hours effort by a Senior Consultant.
• Contract documents will be prepared in a WSDOT special provisions format.
• Project duration will be 2 months (May and June 2022).
