Emergency Generator for Lift Station EB-3

SUMMARY:Lift station EB-3 is located in Manetteand currently does not have a permanent
emergency generator. The location of the lift station makes it very difficult for staff to transport a
portable generator to the station in a reasonable amount of time during storm events. Staff received
two quotes for a stationary generator. The first quote was from Power Systems West for $42,904.68
including applicable sales tax. The second quote was from CED Bremerton in the amount of
$36,018.00 including applicable sales tax.

Bremerton for the purchase of a generator in the amount of $36,018.00 including sales tax, and
authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and
conditions as presented.
