The improvements would include design and construction of mill and fill of the roadway, 56 ADA Curb Ramp upgrades, and traffic signal ADA upgrades. The STP program funds projects at a maximum of 86.5% with a minimum match of $13.5%. The estimated cost of this project is $6,000,000, and staff intend to request $ 5,200,000 in grant funds, requiring the City commit to providing matching funds of $800,000. In addition, the STP Program rules state that expending STP grant funds for any phase of a project, including design, commits the recipient to constructing all phases of the project within 10-years of receipt of the grant funds. For this grant cycle, KRCC has required applicants to include acknowledgment of these requirements from the governing body of the City with the grant applications. ATTACHMENTS: Resolution No. 3347 FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): If awarded this grant in the Countywide competition, the City would be required to provide $800,000 in matching funds for the project.
