Thetermofthis agreement continueduntil December 31, 2020,withoptions torenew fortwo (2) successive ten (10) yearterms. TheYMCA hasindicateda desiretotransition outofoperating theindoorswimming pool andpossibly therecreation center.Consequently, asuccessive ten-yeartermwasnotexecuted. Instead,short amendments (1-5) have beenexecuted toextendtheexpiration oftheagreementand provide forcontinued operationsof thepool andrecreation centerwhile thepartiesnegotiatea transition planbetween theYMCA and theCityforthepoolfacilityand potentially therecreation center. Amendment 6isthenegotiated transition plan.
