This Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.) Is agreed upon pursuant to the labor Management
Article ofthe Collective Bargaining Agreement (C.B.A.) between the City of Bremerton (City) and the
International Association of Fire Fighters Local #437 (Union).
The Collective Bargaining Agreement covers the period of January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2015.
However, the City and the Union agree that it will reopen negotiations no later than June 2013 for the
following articles only:
Article 5 Wages (entire article)
Article 8.1 Vacation Accrual (this section only)
Article 13 Insurance Benefits (entire article)
In recognition of the Union's willingness to remain status quo on the above articles for 2013, the City
will make a one -time deposit of 24 hours into each covered member's vacation bank, to be used per
Article 8 Vacation Leave. This deposit will be made into each member's vacation bank in the first pay
period following ratification of the Collective Bargaining Agreement by both the Union and the City.
This agreement is entered into on the ,rday of 2013
