MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
This Memorandum of Understanding is agreed to pursuant to Article 19.2 of the
Collective Bargaining Agreement (C.B.A.) between the City of Bremerton ("City")
and the International Association of Fire Fighters, Local #437 ("Union").
This proposed Memorandum of Understanding was approved consistent with the
Union's Constitution and Bylaws, Section 4.8, at the 7 October 2014 general
membership meeting.
Article 15.5.1. Firefighters must have completed five (5) years with the Bremerton
Fire Department, or four(4) years with the Bremerton Fire Department if hired
as an experienced(lateral-entry)firefighter, and successfully completed Incident
Safety Officer training as of February 5th of the calendar year in order to be
eligible to take the Lieutenant's examination."
This Agreement is effective October 2014.
