SUMMARY:
The City recently completed rehabilitation of Well 13. As the well was being placed back into service
existing pumpsandrelated
appurtenances had reached the end of their useful life and needed to be replaced. In order to avoid
delay claims from the contractor,the City directed the contractor to purchase the new well pumping
equipment immediately.This Change Order Number 2 includespurchase and installation of the new
pumping equipment and willadd 10 calendar days to the contract.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount):
This project is included in the Water Capital budget; there is no budget adjustment required for this
additional work.

Move to approve Change Order No. 2 to the Well 13 Rehabilitation Project in the amount of $49,050
