SUMMARY:Contract Modification No. 1amends the Professional Services Agreement with
Parametrixto perform an analysis of the Gorst wastewater infrastructure. This critical infrastructure
includes three force mains, three pump stations, and conveys sewage over 3
Wastewater Treatment Plant. The original agreement provided a water hammer analysis of the
system and this amendment will build on this analysis by evaluating different scenarios and
additionally provide recommendations for surge protection, pump station and force main operation,
and maintenance recommendations and procedures. The original agreement was for $24,111.39.
Thisamendment will increase the contract amount by $18,710.56for an amended contract amount of
$42,821.95.

authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and
conditions as presented.
