SUMMARY:
process waste into dewatered biosolids. The WWTP currently has only one centrifuge. The
purchase of a spare rotating assembly for the centrifuge would allow for continuity of operations
when a rotating assembly has to be sent in for repairs/service purposes. WWTP staff would simply
remove one assembly and send the other in for repairs/service with no interruption in solids
processing, which is a critical component of wastewater treatment. Wastewater staff received a
quote from Centrisys-CNP for a new rotating assembly in the amount of $253,643.00including
applicable taxand freight.
