SUMMARY:WSDOT recently updated its Mutual Aid Agreement and in doing so separated
Emergency Proclamation Mutual Aid (under 38.53 RCW) from Local Agency Mutual aid that is not by

between all Government Agencies (local, county, tribal or state) that have executed the agreement to
provide assistance in the event of a local emergency or disaster. This agreement supersedes and
replace the existing agreement that was executed in 1997

Works Emergency Response Assistance Mutual Aid Agreement; 2)Contract #3862(1997 Public
Works Mutual Aid Agreement that is superseded)
FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): No fiscal impacts, agreement includes cost
recovery provisions.
