SUMMARY:The City has a long-standing contract with PetroCard, formerly Masco Fuel, for
purchase of fuel for City vehicles and equipment both at its dispensing facility on Auto Center Way,
On October 9th, 2020 the City issued a
Request for Proposalsfor Fuels and Dispensing Facility Services,as the existing contract was
nearing its termination date. The City received only one submittalfrom our RFP and in this market
there areonly two vendors servicing the areawith fleet cards: PetroCard and APP.To ensure the
proposed fuel rates are reasonable, staff compared them against thecontract rates in the
Department of Enterprise Services Fuels: Gasoline, Diesel, and Renewables contract number08271;
that comparison is attached.

Move to approvethe Goods and Services Agreement with PetroCard, Inc., for the purchase of
gasoline, related products and fuel supply services; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute
the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
