SUMMARY:Several pieces of equipment required to maintain the two 18-hole courses at the Gold
Mountain Golf Complex have reached the end of their useful life and require replacement.Gold
Mountainoperates as an Enterprise Fundwith all expenses including operation and maintenance,
capital purchases and debt service being covered by revenue generated throughgolf and facility
operations. The Golf Management Agreement with Columbia Hospitality, Inc. requires 4% of gross
revenues generated be set aside in a reserve fund to be used for capital facility and equipment
purchases needed to support golf operations. Pricing for the proposed equipment has been publicly
bidthrough state contracts.
