Renovation Project
SUMMARY:The Parks & Recreation Department applied for and was awarded funding from the
Recreation and Conservation OfficeAquatic Lands Enhancement Account in the amount of
$438,200 for improvements to Kitsap Lake Park. One of the scope items is the addition of a picnic
shelter for the upper park area. Pricing for the structure has been competitively solicited and publicly
awarded through the King County Directors Association Purchasing Cooperative (KCDA). Total
equipment cost: $29,480.52 plus WSST.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the purchase agreement of a picnic shelter from Cascade Recreation, Inc. through
the KCDA Purchasing Cooperativein the amount of $29,480.52 plus Washington State Sales Tax;
and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and
conditions as presented.
