It is our understanding that the Chevron Property is located at 1310 Highland Avenue, Bremertmi, Washington 98337. Appr,')ach: Parametri:x will pctfonn a review of existing documentation related to envirorunental conditions at the Chevron Property. Specific work elements will include: . Obtain copies of envlrorunental reports and documentation from the City of Bremerton (CitY), . Review provided documentation to gain an understanding of existing conditions at the property. . Meet with the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) to discuss remediation requirements and alternatives. . Prepare engineering estimate for cleanup based on existing information and discussions with Ecology. . Develop findings to be provided in findings report including a recommended val t~e for assumed liability. Assumptions: The budget for this task is based on the following assumptions. Changes to these assumptions may require modification of the budget. ApptOltCh: Parametrix will perform a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) consistent with relevant guidelines. established in ASTM E1521-00 "Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments:. Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process" and EPA's new "Standards and Practices for All Appropriate Inquiries" (40 CFR Part 312). Specific work elements will include: · Prepare a Work Plan. . Federal, State, Tribal, and Local database searches for Recognized Environmental COIlcems (1 mile from Property). . Review of regulatory records of sites that may impact the Chevron Property. . Review of histOrical maps, aerial photographs, and other historical data. · Perform a site reconnaissance; including observation of potential asbestos-containing materials. . Conduct interviews; with CUrrent owners Or other knowledgeable persons. Assumptions: The budget for this task is based On the following assumptions.
