This letter can be considered our Change Order request #1 for this project. Comment #2 on the 10/24 'Clarification' letter requests that the TVSS be upgraded from a specified Leviton 42277 to a 52277. The upgraded surge protector is a much higher capacity. version and more suited for this application. The 42227 costs $545, the 52277 costs $1 t72. The difference multiplied by 1.15 = $721 Comment #4 requests removal of the dail-up telephone modem. This results in a credit of $85. Comment #5 requests that the Danfoss flowmeter transmitter be upgraded to a model 6000 with Devicenet option. The 6000 supports Devicenet communications and has a higher accuracy. This upgrade will cost Systems Interface $417. Multiplied by 1.15, the result is: $480. Note that the only flowtube available with 300# flanges is the 31 OOW. The 51 OOW tube is only available with 150# flanges (which is unsuitable for this application). The 31 OOW tube, we have been told, will not be discontinued, and has the same accuracy as the 51 OOW with the MAG 6000 electronic transmitter. The fifth comment on the 10/24 'Comments' letter from Tom Baker requests adding a Hirschmann Spider 5-TX Ethernet Switch to the panel. This switch will cost $169; multiplying by 1.15 results in $194. Lastly, please note that there is a small amount of labo, required to process these changes. have summarized the change request pricing below: Project Management and Supervision 0.51 hrs @ $95/hr Project Engineer - Bill of Materials, ordering, etc. 1 hr @ $85/hr Computer Aided Drafting (revise 1 drawing) 0.5 hrs @ $65/hr Administrative Assistance (documentation) 0.25 hrs @ $45/hr Material (listed above, including credit) TOT AL: $47 $85 $32 $11 $1310 $1,485 Sincere'ly, Systems Interface Inc.
