A virtual Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was md|*d to order
VVednoeday, September 29. 2021. at 5:00 PM with Council President Kevin Gorman
presiding. Council Members present were Eric Younger, Mike Simpson, K4ichma| (5o0dnovv.
Quinn Dmnnehy, Leslie Oeugs' and Pat Sullivan. Also present were Legislative Office &4anoywr
Lori Smith; and IT Systems Administrator Kelly Wells to provide staff support.
President Gorman announced that /o help reduce the spread ofCOVYD-Y0, and until the Norm
Dicks Government Center is open to the public, the City Council is conducting their meetings via
Zoom N/eb/nar, which will remain in effect until further notice... He further emphasized that the
Special Meeting was open to the public to listen -in, but there would be no opportunities for input
orparticipation...
President Gorman then introduced Acting Assistant Secretary Christie Spice from the Health
Systems Quality Assurance Division; and Executive Director John Williams from the Office of
Community Health Systems who provided a PovverPoint presentation onthe Washington State
Department ofHealth "Certificate ofNeed C]verx/em/'
Followed bvanextensive question and answer period.
With no further business, President Gorman adjourned the Council Meeting at 6:51 PM.
