A. Project Description
Grant funds will be used to complete ADA improvements at four park and recreational facilities (Kitsap
Lake Park, Lions Park, Pendergast Park, Sheridan Park Community Center) by providing upgrades to
restrooms, pathways, parking, fencing, gates and site furniture.
B. Project Scope / Tasks:
1 Complete Environmental Review
2 Finalize Project Plans and Source Materials

Coordinate City Crews to perform work (install restroom fixtures, order/install site furniture, paving,
etc.)
4 Procure bids from non-City contractors for work City Crews are unable to perform (roofing, paving,
fencing, etc.)
5 Procure permit for new accessible gate (footing requires building permit)

Track short and long term successes through the following measureable outcomes for Bremerton:
Accessible restroom, pathways and site furniture (incl. foot wash and drinking fountain) at
Kitsap Lake Park
Accessible parking, pathways, access to portable restroom and new accessible gate at Lions
Park tennis courts
Accessible restroom fixtures installed at Pendergast Regional Park
Door acuator installed at Sheridan Park Community Center restroom

Maintain required records and track relevant data to demonstrate CDBG program successes,
including number of unduplicated clients served, separating the counts between the City and the
County, including race and ethnicity.
8 Submit quarterly reports and billing vouchers in a timely manner
9 Submit photos (JPEG) of the program in action with your final quarterly report
C. Project Milestone Schedule
The time frame for completion of the outlined activities shall be:
