SUMMARY: This is a traffic safety improvement project to complete the final segment of guardrail on
Tracyton Beach Rd, approximately 560 feet. Staff advertised using the small works roster process;
only one bid was received.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount):
Traffic safety improvements are budgeted in the Transportation Projects fund at $100,000.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Public Works Agreement for the Tracyton Beach Guardrail Project with
Petersen Brothers, Inc. in the amount of $69,313.29 plus any applicable Washington State Sales Tax
and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and
conditions as presented.
