SUMMARY: The City advertised the project and sealed bids were opened on July 14, 2021 and two
(2) bids were received. Sound Pacific, Inc. is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder with a bid of
$672,447.00, including sales tax. The project includes bicycle and pedestrian improvements on
Washington, Burwell and Pacific Streets in downtown Bremerton and bike lane improvements on
Austin Drive,

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This project is budgeted in the 2021
Transportation Capital Budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to award construction of the Downtown Bremerton and Austin Drive Complete Streets Project
to Sound Pacific, Inc. in the amount of $672,447.00, including sales tax; and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
