AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, amending Chapter 10.42 of the Bremerton
Municipal Code to include Section 10.42.070 entitled "Funds
Allocated."
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend provisions of Chapter 10.42 of the
Bremerton Municipal Code relating to the allocation of funding to the Transportation Projects
Fund; NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 10.42.070 of the Bremerton Municipal Code entitled
"Funds Allocated" is hereby added to read as follows:
10.42.070 FUNDS ALLOCATED.
All fees collected in excess of all costs incurred by the City for operation of the
automated traffic safety cameras pursuant to this chapter shall be dedicated to the Transportation
Capital Projects Fund, unless otherwise allocated by the City Council.
SECTION2. Corrections. The City Clerk and codifiers of this ordinance are
authorized to make necessary corrections to this ordinance including, but not limited to, the
correction of scrivener, clerical, typographical, and spelling errors, references, ordinance
numbering, section/subsection numbers and any references thereto.
SECTION3. Severability. If any one or more sections, subsections, or sentences
of this ordinance are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portion of this ordinance and the same shall remain in full force and
effect.
SECTION 9. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force ten
(10) days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
