SUMMARY: Contract Modification Agreement No. 3 amends the Professional Services Agreement
with Parametrix to provide engineering services for Oyster Bay Beach Sewer Upgrades. The
original contract amount was $437,006. There have been two previous contract modifications that
increased the contract amount to $672,706.96. The proposed current contract modification
increases the contract amount by $49,711.71 to $722,418,67 and covers additional scope for
completion of several tasks including survey, stormwater drainage and roadway design, force main
design, bidding assistance, and electrical support.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The work is partially funded by a Department of
Ecology CWSRF loan and is included in the 2021 Wastewater budget.

Move to approve Contract Modification Agreement No. 3 with Parametrix, Inc. for the Oyster
Bay Beach Sewer Upgrades Project in the amount of $49,711.71; and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as
presented.
